La Konferenz der Mennonitengemeinden in Uruguay tiene 507 miembros y 9 congregaciones y es miembra del Congreso Mundial Menonita (2005).
Historia
Esta conferencia incluye congregaciones de habla alemán en Uruguay que se originaron en Danzing y West Prussia, y vinieron a Uruguay en la década de 1940. Hay tres colonias menonitas que son principalmente agrícolas y se han organizado ellas miismas en cooperativas. Además, hay un número creciente de miembros que viven en la ciudad de Montevideo. Cada colonia es autónoma, pero también hay mucha cooperación entre ellos a través del trabajo de iglesia y otras organizaciones. Esta conferencia coordina trabajo y bienestar social, también trabajan en conjunto con la convención habla española.
