The Milverton Anabaptist Institute (MAI), in the Township of Perth East, Ontario[1], Canada, was established on January 21, 2025, on the 500th Anniversary of the founding of Swiss Anabaptism. An online portal for Anabaptism in Ontario, Milverton Anabaptist Institute Online, was created on April 12, 2025.

The primary purpose for MAI is the research, promotion and collection of Anabaptist educational resources in Ontario, a province with a significant and diverse Anabaptist population. Specifically, Perth East is the heart of Amish Country in Midwestern Ontario.

The MAI, through a network of Research Specialists, collects unpublished research papers, personal memoirs, and other written resource materials about Anabaptism in Ontario.

If you would like to contribute your writing to MAI, or of you would like to become a MAI Research Specialist, please email: milvertonanabaptist@gmail.com.
