Esta conferencia empezó bajo el trabajo en conjunto de dos conferencias menonitas, con misioneros llegando en 1968 a hacer ministerio principalmente a los hablantes de Kekchi. Los primeros tres miembros fueron bautizados en 1972 y la conferencia fue organizada en 1980. [1]
This conference began under the joint effort of two Mennonite conferences, with mission workers arriving in 1968 to minister mainly to the Kekchi-speaking people. The first three members were baptized in 1972 and the conference was organized in 1980. The conference is divided into five districts, and is a member of the Mennonite World Conference.
