TheAssociação das Igrejas Menonitas do Brasil (AIMB) church conference was formed in 1930 with the arrival of Mennonites of German/Dutch descent who were refugees from the Communist regime in the former Soviet Union. They began their work in the southern part of Brazil in the state of Santa Catarina, later migrating to Curitiba, where many of them still live today. The church is a member of MWC.[1]
La conferencia de AIMB se formó en1930 con la llegada de Menonitas decendientes de Alemania y Holanda quienes fueron refugiados del régimen comunista en la Unión Soviética. Empezaron su trabajo en la parte sur de Brasil en el estado de Santa Catarina, luego migraron a Curibita donde muchos de ellos todavía viven. La iglesia es miembra del CMM.
