Dan Ulrich is Wieand Professor of New Testament Studies at Bethany Theological Seminary (Richmond, Ind.) where he has taught since 1996. He graduated from Bethany (MDiv 1985) and pastored the Easton (Md.) Church of the Brethren for six years before completing a PhD in Biblical Studies at Union Theological Seminary in Virginia (1991-1997, now Union Presbyterian Seminary). His interest in intercontextual interpretation of Scripture has included teaching in English and Spanish as well as team-teaching courses via video with colleagues and students in Nigeria. He has published a book as well as several articles and essays about the gospel of Matthew.
