En 1968, misioneros menonitas de Eastern Mennonite Missions y de la Conferencia Menonita de Washington-Franklin llegaron a Guatemala y empezaron la obra que produjo la Iglesia Evangélica Menonita de Guatemala, la cual está localizada en la ciudad de Guatemala.

In 1968, Mennonite missionaries from Eastern Mennonite Missions and Washington-Franklin Mennonite Conference arrived in Guatemala and began work that produced the Evangelical Mennonite Church of Guatemala, which is located in Guatemala City.[2]
